Viettel youth present Tet gifts to disabledYouth of the Defence Telecommunications Group known as Viettel on January 26th went to Huong Lan Pagoda in Cuu Dong village, Dong Son commune, Chuong My district, Hanoi to present gifts to disabled children on the occasion of the lunar New Year festival (Tet).

Huong Lan Pagoda is home to 60 disabled students at ages from 6 to 26. The pagoda provides free food and accommodation for the disabled while 9 voluntary teachers often go there to teach them for free.

To bring more support to the disabled, the youth organization of Viettel launched a program named “Hearts warming hearts”, mobilizing member of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and young people to donate money and materials to them.

At the first mobilization drive, youth of Viettel presented a book case with interesting books, 71 gifts and 71 scholarships, as well as a large number of toys, clothes, learning equipment, books and notebooks worth some VND 50 million.
