‘How to sell products on digital media with a limited budget’ was the main topic of discussion among businessmen at ‘Marketing to sell products’ seminar held by the 2030 Businessmen Club’s Biz Group on Wednesday in HCMC.
Most businessmen attending the seminar agreed that marketing products via digital media, especially on Google, connected with other sales channels and was not entirely new but still effective.
Vu Tien Thap, deputy head of the club and director of the furniture distribution company D’Furni, said that advertising on digital media was at its most effective when the product sales directed at those who visited enterprises’ websites and links.
According to Dinh Van Loc, director of Viet Da Travel Company, enterprises have a habit of using Google to connect with other sales channels. However, those with operations in foreign markets need consultation about tools whose functions are similar to Google.
“Google can connect to some digital sales channels in certain countries and regions but not all,” Loc said.
According to Pham Thi My Le, chairman of KingBee Media and speaker at the seminar, most Vietnamese enterprises use Google to link to digital sales channels as this is their first choice.
“Each company depending on its own business strategies will have different approaches to new customers and different ways to retain old customers. The advantage of advertising on Google is the high number of visitors as the network is widespread. Besides, Google users are those having the highest possibility of buying products,” Le said.
If businesses want to market products and services on digital media, they must be ready for online advertising, she added.
Next month, 2030 Businessmen Club will hold more specialized seminars focusing on increasing sales via digital marketing, increasing new customers at low costs and increasing marketing efficiency with unique ideas.
